Van Zeehelden, Veem en Toekomstmuziek (soundwalk, 2007)

A soundwalk of approx. one hour through Workshop Het Veem, the Amsterdam Zeehelden neighbourhood and surroundings. Various people will tell you their story: former and present residents, artists from Het Veem, architects, skippers, shopkeepers and children. They speak about the present, the past and the futore of the neighbourhood they live and work in. All from a perspective of change. Evelien edited all the stories and made the sounddesign and music for the soundwalk. For the soundscape she used environmental sounds, a calliope (steam organ) and shiphorns.
