Poetry by William Blake performed with voice and live electronics

Shifting between musique concrète and glitchy popsongs, Daisy Bell invokes an obscure atmosphere with warped voices and raw electronic beats. Daisy Bell was the first song performed by an IBM computer generated voice in 1961.

The Dutch trio Daisy Bell was founded in 2011 and consists of Evelien van den Broek, Dyane Donck and Richard van Kruysdijk. They share a background in performing, producing and composing for the stage, installation and multidisciplinary art, film, theatre and dance. Proverbs of Hell is their first release. This limited vinyl-only album is released by WORM in February 2012, and was premiered live during the Art's Birthday radio broadcast in the Dutch VPRO studio in January 2012.
